Mission

Together we thrive

Thrive Canteen's mission is to support Together We Thrive, a 501c3 domestic non-profit that seeks to address humanity's most basic, fundamental needs -- healthy food, clean water and supportive shelter -- that enable people to not only survive, but thrive.

Together We Thrive teaches people how to live in the world without making it warmer while addressing the structural inequalities inherent in our society. We look for innovative solutions that improve human health and wellbeing while minimizing our carbon footprint, creating a brighter future.

Communities

Thrive Communities are green subdivisions with professionally designed, turn-key small homes for those on the verge of homelessness. Each home will have net-zero carbon emissions and each community will have its own shared garden. Our first campaign is 100 Homes for 100 Families where we will partner with a renowned San Francisco based architect to design and develop 100 small homes in California. Thrive Communities uses a subsidized rent-to-own model that gives individuals and families, many of whom would never have had the chance at home ownership, an opportunity to own their home outright at a very low cost basis.

Thrive

Food bank

Thrive Food Bank is focused on providing healthy, vegetarian options to food insecure populations. We utilize an all-electric mobile food truck fleet to distribute produce and other vegetarian foods to Los Angeles County neighborhoods facing nutrition gaps.  Our holistic approach to food insecurity takes a long term view of physical, mental and planetary health, all of which are benefited from a move towards a vegetarian diet. Not only does a vegetarian diet reduce inflammation but it also reduces an individual's carbon footprint by 49%.

Clean Water Lab

Thrive Clean Water Lab is dedicated to bringing clean water to natural and manmade disaster zones via its emergency response team, as well as partnering with like minded organizations to identify mitigation strategies for drinking water contamination in specific U.S. locations.
