Clean Water Lab
Thrive Clean Water Lab is dedicated to bringing clean water to natural and manmade disaster zones via its emergency response team, as well as partnering with like minded organizations to identify mitigation strategies for drinking water contamination in specific U.S. locations.
Lead Free Schools Campaign
While the installation of lead pipes, fittings, faucets and fixtures were banned by Congress in 1986, they are still located within the walls of certain K-12 schools across the U.S. built on or before 1986. Many of these lead items have reached their end of life– which means they could be leaching lead into the water– and are ready for replacement. If your child’s school was built on or before 1986, Together We Thrive is offering 4 FREE lead tests from one of the top labs that provided lead tests for the California public school system when it tested over 10,000 of its schools for lead pipes and fixtures.
TWT is also providing FREE Thrive Canteens to K-12 public schools and child care centers during their lead pipe remediation so they have drinking water while their pipes are being replaced.
Food bank
Thrive Food Bank is focused on providing healthy, vegetarian options to food insecure populations. We utilize an all-electric mobile food truck fleet to distribute produce and other vegetarian foods to Los Angeles County neighborhoods facing nutrition gaps. Our holistic approach to food insecurity takes a long term view of physical, mental and planetary health, all of which are benefited from a move towards a vegetarian diet. Not only does a vegetarian diet reduce inflammation but it also reduces an individual's carbon footprint by 49%.
